Terms of Use
Call us today - (718) 000-0000These Terms of Use govern your use of americanservicealliance.com and the appliance repair services American Service Alliance (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides. Browsing the site or booking a repair with us is your agreement to these terms.
1. Agreeing to these terms
Visiting this website or requesting service means you accept these Terms of Use along with our Privacy Policy. If either does not sit right with you, please do not use the site or book a repair.
2. What we do
We provide in-home diagnosis and repair of major household appliances – refrigerators, ovens and ranges, dishwashers, washers, dryers, microwaves and garbage disposals among them. Every visit depends on technician availability, components availability, and safe access to the unit.
3. Scheduling and arrival windows
Booking gets you an arrival window rather than an exact time. Traffic, a prior job running long, or weather can shift that window, and we will let you know if it does. Somebody 18 or older needs to be on the property for the length of the visit.
4. Diagnosis and how pricing works
A service call fee applies to every visit and is disclosed before you book. Approve the repair we recommend and that fee is credited against the total. Decline, and the fee still applies – it covers the technician’s travel, time and diagnostic work regardless of outcome.
Every quote is a flat rate given only after the appliance has actually been diagnosed. Find a second problem once we are inside the unit, and we stop and get your sign-off before going any further.
5. Payment
Payment is due once the work is complete, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We take whatever payment methods are posted at the time of service. Unpaid balances may be referred for collection where the law allows it.
6. Our warranty, in short
We stand behind both our labor and the components we install. Full terms – how long coverage runs and what is and is not included – live on our warranty page and in our Refund, Return and Cancellation Policy, which also walks through how a warranty claim is handled.
7. Appliance condition and where our work stops
We work on appliances as we find them. We may decline a unit that is unsafe, has been altered by an earlier repair, shows water or pest damage, or needs a component that is no longer made. If an appliance genuinely is not worth repairing, we say so and charge only the service call fee.
Moving a built-in appliance carries some inherent risk to flooring, cabinetry and the connections behind it. We take every precaution, but cannot be held responsible for pre-existing weaknesses in flooring, cabinetry, or plumbing and electrical connections that give out once a unit is moved.
8. Access and safety on site
Giving us safe, clear access to the appliance – and flagging any known hazards – is on you. We may leave, and still charge the service call fee, if a property or appliance presents a safety risk to our technician.
9. About the content on this site
Content here is offered as general information, not a promise that a componenticular problem can be fixed or fixed at a componenticular price. Price ranges shown are typical examples, not quotes. Please leave the repairs described here to us; gas and high-voltage work is genuinely dangerous and often regulated.
10. Brand names and trademarks
Manufacturer names, logos and model numbers referenced on this site belong to their respective owners and appear only to identify the equipment we service. American Service Alliance is an independent repair company. Naming a brand is not a claim of affiliation, endorsement or authorization from that manufacturer unless we state otherwise.
11. Our own intellectual property
The text, design and code making up this website belong to American Service Alliance and may not be copied or republished without our permission.
12. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law permits, our total liability for any service we provide, or for your use of this website, is capped at what you paid us for that service. We are not liable for indirect losses – spoiled food, lost income, property damage – that our negligence did not directly cause.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the state where the service took place, with disputes handled in that state’s courts.
14. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Whatever version is posted at the moment you book is the version that applies to your service.
