Frequently Asked Questions
Call us today - (718) 000-0000The questions we are asked most on the phone, answered here so you do not have to ask them.
How Soon Can Someone Come Out?
Call before noon and most of our service area can be seen the same day. Refrigeration goes first, because food is on the line. You get an arrival window, not a whole day.
What Does a Visit Cost?
Most repairs land between $150 and $450, components and labor included. Starting prices are on our pricing page. Your exact figure is confirmed in writing after diagnosis.
Do You Charge for the Diagnostic?
A service call fee covers the trip and the diagnosis. Approve the repair and it rolls into the labor, so the visit costs nothing extra.
Which Brands Do You Work On?
Every major brand sold in the New York area and plenty beyond it, across mainstream, premium and luxury lines alike.
Is My Appliance Worth Repairing?
Our rule: once the repair clears half the price of a comparable new appliance on an aging unit, replacing is the better spend, and we say so. Below that, or on anything built into cabinetry, repair wins.
How Long Is the Warranty?
Our written warranty covers the components we install and our labor. Commercial and multi-family equipment gets 30 days on both. Full terms are on our warranty page.
Do You Work Weekends?
Yes. We are Open 7 Days a Week, 7AM-7PM, weekends included.
What Should I Have Ready When I Call?
The brand, the model number if you can reach it, what the appliance is doing, and any error code showing. That loads the right component before we roll.
I Can Smell Gas. What Should I Do?
Leave the property and call your gas utility first. Call us once they have made it safe. Safety call, not a repair call.
Ready to get it fixed?
Call before noon and we push to fit you in quickly. Two-hour window, flat price agreed before work starts.
